Baby Humble: The Little Mermaid Nursery

Nursery Painting - Before we ever found out the Baby's gender, I knew if it was a girl, I was going to do the nursery in The Little Mermaid theme. It's my favorite movie, and I had so many ideas of things I could do with the room. I was excited when Baby was a girl since I already knew exactly what I wanted to do. While Pinertesting different nursery ideas, I came up with a few more things to change/add to my original idea. I knew all along what colors I wanted to use and decided to have some fun by adding some mermaid scales to a couple of the walls. We got paint, and I got to work on getting it all done. Let me just say it took WAY longer than I anticipated it was going to lol. I decided to use 3 different colors for the mermaid scales, and individually painting them all by hand took quite a while. However, it came out so cute and I absolutely LOVE it, so I can now say I do think it was worth it. Here is a little Before & After shot as well as some behind-the-scenes photos of my Operation Mermaid Scales painting adventure:

Nursery Set Up - After all the nursery painting (which took a lot longer than I thought it would), I was so excited to continue getting the nursery together! I started working on all the other nursery decor projects I had in mind for The Little Mermaid nursery. I also began organizing and getting everything put away. Once we finally got the crib and started collecting the other furniture we needed for the nursery, I began setting it all up and getting the setup and decor in place. I had so much fun planning and figuring out where to put everything. Here is the finished product :)
