Baby Humble #2: Old Wives Tales

With my first pregnancy I did a bunch of Old Wives Tales for fun and they were surprisingly very accurate with their prediction. So I decided to do them again for Baby #2 just for fun. I didn't do as many Tales as I did the first time and ended up doing them all super close to finding out the gender but here is my breakdown of the tests I did.

Baby's Heart Rate
The tale is that if the Baby's heart rate is above 140 it's a girl and if it is below 140 it's a boy. So far Baby's heart rate has been: 167 at 10 weeks; 174 & 177 at 11 weeks; and 153-158 at 14 weeks.
Result: Girl

Morning Sickness
The tale is that if you have morning sickness during pregnancy it is a girl and if you don't have any it is a boy. I had morning sickness for a week but never got sick. So while it was minimal for me I still did experience some.
Result: Girl

Daddy's Weight
The tale is that if daddy gains weight while you're pregnancy it means a girl and if he maintains the same weight or loses weight it means a boy. So far during my pregnancy Robbie has maintained weight.
Result: Boy

Mommy's Skin
The tale is that if mommy's skin is worse/breaking out more then usual it means a girl and if it stays the same or gets better it means a boy. So far I have been breaking out on my forehead and face more since becoming pregnant when I rarely do when I'm not.
Result: Girl

Balance
The tale is that if mommy's balance is graceful/stable it means a girl and if she is more clumsy it means a boy. My balance has been stable and the same as pre-pregnancy so far.
Result: Girl

Chinese Calendar
This one is a calendar by the Chinese that you put the mothers age at conception and the month of conception to determine the gender.
Result: Boy
(Here is the calendar for fun if you'd like to see it for yourself)

Mayan Calendar
This one is similar to the Chinese calendar but a little different. You take the mothers age at conception and the year of conception. If both numbers are even or both are odd it means a girl and if they are one even and one odd it means a boy.
Result: Boy

Baking Soda Test
For the test you mix 2 tbsp of baking soda in a cup with your urine and watch the result. If it does nothing it means a girl and if the mixture bubbles or fizzes like a soda/beer it means a boy. I did the test and nothing happened.
Result: Girl

Drano Test
For the test you mix Drano and urine and watch the result. If it does nothing or the color stays the same after 10-15 seconds it means girl and if the color darkens or turns brown after 10 seconds it means boy. My mixture didn't change color. I used regular liquid Drano for my test but in looking it up I've seen others say you have to use crystal Drano. Not sure which way it is supposed to be done or if it matters.
Result: Girl

Final Tally
GIRL: 6 > BOY: 3
I know all these tales are just for fun and really have a 50/50% chance of being right. I've seen friends have identical pregnancies and have opposite genders and friends have very different pregnancies but have the same gender, and vice versa. I know there is no real way to tell what gender you will have until you do a gender ultrasound but it's still fun to do these. With my first pregnancy these tales were almost unanimous and it was correct so I'm curious what the case will be this time. While a had a couple more boy results this time the overall conclusion was girl. I wasn't really surprised with these results just because this pregnancy and my symptoms have been almost identical to my first.
