Lacey Belle is 11 months!! She is pulling herself up constantly and balancing on her legs by herself. She has stood up a couple times now all by herself with no assistance. Our little peanut is small for her age and still in 6-9 month clothes. She now has a total of 5 teeth and loves meal time! She likes reaching for people to hold her and pointing at things. She is so curious of the world and people around her. She is such a little sweetie and her personality seems to be coming through more everyday. She dislikes being told no and loves attention, babies, & going on car rides.
Dearest Lacey Belle,
Wow this month you have really seemed to grow and change so much! You are now balancing on your feet on your own and have even stood up on your own a few times without holding on to anything! It seems like as soon as you master a new trick you're on to the next one. It feels like you're growing too fast and time needs to slow down! It's become so obvious to me this month that you're no longer my little tiny baby and while I love that you're growing and doing so well I also wish I could have those early days back some days. I knew this would happen though and so I try to just enjoy each and every moment as they come. And I also try to capture as much on video and camera as possible! You now have two more top teeth bringing the current teeth count to 5 teeth! You have also been talking/babbling a lot more this past month. While you still say "ba ba" and "puh puh" for almost everything you have also added "da da", "mom/ma ma" and what sounds like "Stralia" to your vocabulary. I just cannot believe in a month you will be a year old already! Where has the time gone?! You absolutely love your puppies (Stralia & Trixie) and are always so eager to see them and play with them during the day. I believe you'll be running around with them all over in no time. You love pulling up on any and everything and do it constantly. This month we celebrated your 1st St. Patty's Day and your 1st Easter. For St. Patty's Day you, me & the puppies went to Virginia and spent almost 2 weeks visiting my family. Daddy was out of town for work for a couple weeks and we enjoyed our mini vacation away. It snowed one day and you enjoyed playing with your cousins and watching your littlest cousin baby Leah. You did so good with little Leah and were so gentle. You seem to really be noticing and loving all babies/little kids now. I can't wait for you to be walking and watching you run around with all your cousins soon. For your 1st Easter we went to church and had a family day just us and daddy. You love to be the center of attention and are such a little ham in front of the camera. You enjoy selfies and looking at videos/pictures of yourself. I could total see you being a little entertainer/model one day and can't wait to see all that you will conquer as you grow! Another big first this month was we made our official announcement that you are going to be a big sister in September! While we've known for awhile now--we waited to share it with the world. Although you are too young to understand what it all means I can't wait to see how you will be with the baby once it arrives. You will be the best big sister I'm sure! I promise to still have our special mommy and Lacey Belle time and I'm so excited to see how you'll do with your little sibling (especially now that you love babies). You are the most precious, adorable, sweet little girl and I love you with all of my heart! Happy 11 months of life my little joy!
