Baby Humble #2: Weeks 21-27

The 2nd half of my 2nd trimester has been a mixture of emotions and super busy. While I've had more energy I still get tired off and on and try to nap whenever I can. I've also worked really hard on getting back on track with my yoga routines and it feels great and seems to be helping with my aches and pains. The first half of my pregnancy felt like it went so fast but the last few weeks it has seemed to slow way down again.

21 Weeks - I've been focused on getting back into my regular yoga routine and spending lots of quality time with Lacey Belle. Been enjoying the warmer weather too and went on a boat tour around little islands here. Been wanting blueberry bagels and peanut butter often.

22 Weeks - Felt Baby's first kick but not much movement overall. I found out I have an anterior placenta again which could be causing me not to feel much movement early again this pregnancy. I had another doctors appointment and Baby's heart rate was high 130s-low 140s which is the lowest it's ever been (and lower then Lacey Belle's ever was).

23 Weeks - I have been wanting the Sweet Tart mini chewy candy a lot lately. We're still working on agreeing on a name for Baby and will probably not decide for sure until the birth like we did with Lacey Belle. I'm getting more anxious/nervous about how things will flow and work once Baby arrives and how Lacey Belle will adjust to it all but also getting a little more excited every day too. I'm thankful we still have a few months to go but I know it's gonna start feeling like it goes by fast.

24 Weeks - Starting to feel movement more often but still nothing consistent yet, usually just when I'm laying on my side or when Lacey Belle's on my tummy. Feeling pretty good overall. Trying to stick to my regular yoga routines again and my appetite has been pretty low lately. I've also started my nesting mode by spring/summer cleaning. And I got Baby's coming home outfit.

25 Weeks - Been feeling baby move around quite a bit more. Started organizing the boy clothes I have and figuring out what I still need to get. Started going through my boy fabric to make some sewing projects and getting some baby stuff washed. The most common foods I've been wanting lately have been hot ham and cheese & graham cracker cereal.

26 Weeks - I've been taking advantage of my extra energy by going through and organizing all the baby stuff I have so far to see what I still need and get things ready. Started working on a couple sewing projects and finding ideas for the nursery. My legs have been falling asleep more easily lately and I've been craving french fries often.

27 Weeks - I had another doctors appointment this past week and all looks good, everything is measuring on track and Baby's heart rate was 140s. I will now begin my bi-weekly appointments. I've also hit a bump and weight growth spurt the last couple weeks. We are down to only 3 months to go until the due date now!
