Baby Humble #2: Weeks 35-38

The rest of my pregnancy has pretty much been busy prepping and trying to get everything done early for Baby's arrival. I have been feeling pretty tired, sore, had quite of bit of back pain and trouble sleeping with all the frequent pee breaks in the middle of the night. I overall felt huge but luckily my weight and size has been pretty much the same as my first pregnancy.

35 Weeks - Onto the final stretch with only 5 weeks left to go! Baby is head down and heart rate is in the 150s. My stomach was measuring 33 at 34 weeks which is a little small but Dr said it's nothing to worry about. I am making good progress on my sewing projects by completing Baby's car seat cover and first blanket. I've also been on a Mexican food kick lately and having Braxton Hicks pretty often.

36 Weeks - A couple days late but we're down to only 4 weeks left until Baby's due date! Today started my weekly Dr appointments and Baby's heart rate was 130s. Baby is head down and I am 1 cm dilated but still have a ways to go. I'm staying busy working on sewing projects and have almost everything done I need to get done before Baby arrives. I have Baby's sleeping area set up in our room and the car seat ready to go. I'm feeling ready to meet Baby and not be pregnant anymore but not quite as ready to have 2 under 2 lol

37 Weeks - It's officially baby month (yay Sept)! Baby is now considered full term and my hospital bag is packed and ready to go. I've been craving strawberry milk, ice cream, and Mexican food lately. I am doing my yoga ball exercises and walking more. I'm having regular Braxton Hicks but no real contractions yet. Hoping to be able to have my regular Dr (and the same Dr who delivered Lacey Belle) whenever this Baby decides to come.

38 Weeks - Well this was my last weekly bumpdate with Lacey Belle..we'll see if this Baby keeps the tradition alive or not lol. Still no signs of impending labor other then regular Braxton Hicks. I was hoping to have Baby this weekend cuz my Dr is on call at the hospital but it's not looking like that's going to happen...although with all the pressure changes and hurricane coming next week it could really be anytime (I went into labor with Lacey Belle during a tornado warning). I'm feeling ready for Baby to come and have waves of tiredness off and on during the day but am overall feeling pretty good. Baby's heart rate was 140s during my Dr appointment this week. I got my car vacuumed and put Baby's carseat in. With only 2 weeks left until Baby's due date I now have everything done!

**As fate would have it I went into labor with Baby Boy at 38 weeks, 3 days on Monday (the day after my regular Dr got off call) and right before Hurricane Florence hit (but that's a crazy long story for another post). Stay tuned for Baby's birth announcement post and birth story to come!
