Letters to Weston: 3 Months

12/10/2018
Weston is 3 months old! He has a pretty solid nighttime routine and has been sleeping consistently between 6-8 hours (with one 10 hour night). He has seemed to just hit a growth spurt and he is very alert now. He also giggles now which is the most precious thing! He weighed 12lbs at his 2 month check up right before Thanksgiving and was in the 50th percentile for both weight and height. He loves: playing on his playmate, chewing on his hands & spending time with daddy. He dislikes: getting burped & tummy time.

Dearest Weston,

You are now 3 months old and it seems you've just hit a growth spurt you just seem so much bigger to be these days. You are a daddy's boy through and through. Whenever he gets home from work and you see/hear him you want nothing to do with me (even if you're eating) and are constantly looking for daddy and to say hi to him. You seem to have started teething as you are chewing on your hands and everything now. You are getting better with tummy time but it's still not your favorite. You do really enjoy your play mat with the hanging animals. It will keep you happy and busy for quite awhile which is such a huge blessing for me to get some things done. You don't seem to be using your paci too much anymore so maybe it won't be your favorite like it is for sister. You are sleeping regularly in the swing and love the movement but I am trying to see if I can get you to sleep in the pack n play some more to work on transitioning you there instead. You still sleep in mommy and daddy's room and we are still living in our temporary apartment. I am working on getting your bedtime earlier consistently to 10pm and you are sleeping 7-8 hours at night which is AMAZING for this tire mommy! You make me so happy and the sleep really helps me be able to function and play with you and sister during the day. A new thing you have started this month is giggling. It is like music to my ears and I would do anything to hear that sweet little giggle of yours. You seem to just love life and us--which is perfect because we love you just as much! We celebrated your 1st Thanksgiving. We stayed home just our little family this year and daddy made a little mini Thanksgiving for us. Your eyes are looking more and more blue everyday which I absolutely love! I have been hoping they wold stay blue just like sisters and looks like they are! They are so big and beautiful. You are such a handsome little guy. Happy 3 months of life my little cutie!

Love,
Mommy
